Wedding: Sandy & Brandyn

I drove out to the Coco Palm Restaurant in Pomona to shadow April Smith on Sandy and Brandyn's wedding. The day was as beautiful as the bride. This was such a fun wedding to photograph. The bride, groom and the rest of the wedding guests had so much fun, that it was infectious! Here are a few pictures from their glorious day!

This is Sandy and Brandyn's daughter. I just love this picture of her.
For this shot I climbed down half way down a dirt hill. Luckily, no one noticed me.
This is Sandy and Brandyn's son with his uncle.
I just love everyone's expressions in this photo.
This was one crazy reception. Everyone looked to be having a wonderful time!

Album: Marcie & Chris

It seems like it has been ages since I've posted an album design that I've been working on. This album is designed for the amazing Anita Goodman with Goodman Photography.

This album was really fun to design, because the pictures Anita captured just made you want to go back in time and try to snag an invitation to this wedding. The bride and groom looked like they have so much fun together and would probably send everyone home with belly aches from laughing so hard.
I was going to try to do an album slideshow with the layouts, but quite haven't figured out how to do that yet. If someone knows how, leave me a comment and let me know! Thanks!

Neesa & Ryan get Married!

Neesa and Ryan had a beautiful wedding at Sierra Lakes Golf Club in Fontana. Neesa looked absolutely amazing! She had the most piercing green eyes I have ever seen...just gorgeous! Thank you Neesa and Ryan for letting me be there for your special day. Also, I wanted to thank April Smith for letting me tag along with her on their day as well.

Here are some shots!
The bridesmaid's shoes are awesome! I wish I was as imaginative as Neesa for my wedding!
Can't you just see the love that these two share! I love this pictures of them during their 1st dance. It started out slow and then these two got crazy!

The Huntington Library

My husband and I love to take drives on Sundays just to get away and enjoy the outside. Two Sundays ago we decided to take a drive to the mountains. I was really wanting to see some beautiful flowers since Spring had sprung, and silly me thought we would accomplish that in the mountains. We took the drive, and even though there were not to many flowers to see we did get above the clouds and had this amazing view, and if you look closely enough you can see the city in between the mountains and the clouds:

I wasn't able to see many flowers on our drive, so I talked Brad into taking me to the Huntington Library. I've been wanting to go there for over 5 years, so I thought it would be a perfect day to do just that! He was a little resistant at first, but after just 10 minutes there, he was so happy I made the suggestion. The Huntington Library is just absolutely amazing. Our favorite section had to be the desert flowers, where most of these pictures were taken.

I know there is a lot going on in this picture, but I thought you would like a little brain teaser. See how long it takes you to find the people in the picture! ....Now wasn't that fun?

I know these cacti below aren't the most beautiful to look at, but you got to admit, they're pretty crazy looking!

Now we're out of the Desert section and the rest were taken on our way to the Japanese gardens.

I had a bit of an infatuation with the bees that day. When I'm behind the camera I wasn't realizing how close I was getting to them as well, until one of the got a bit angry and started buzzing right by my ear. I decided after that I had enough pictures of the bees and decided to leave them alone the rest of the day.
