The Burning Sun

My husband bought me a new camera for Christmas this year, and I've been obsessed with Huntington Beach sunsets. We love to go out there watch the sunset and then go grab a bite to eat down on Main Street in Huntington Beach. Its great to watch the couples, surfers and families enjoying the beautiful weather, the ocean and the spectacuar sunsets. Here are a few shots that I just love from those nights! Enjoy!

The Secret Wedding

I finally get to blog about a secret project that I have been working on. My beautiful cousin Melissa and her husband, Matt, were married in August of last year in South Carolina. Her wedding was absolutely gorgeous. It was located at the Westin Poinsetta Hotel in Greenville, South Carolina. As you can tell from the pictures the hotel had an old time, elegant charm to it.

Anita Gooman was the photographer, from Goodman Photography & Video, and we decided together to keep it a secret that I would be doing the album design for my cousin's wedding. We finally showed her the design, so now that it is no longer a secret, I can share it with all of you. Here are a few pages from their album:

This is the front and back cover of their book. Left side is the back cover, right is the front.

Crazy after the Holidays

It’s been a crazy Holiday season, but I've enjoyed every minute of it! I spent my holidays in my home state of Ohio and was able to enjoy the Midwest weather fluctuations while I was there. One night I could have sworn my eye balls were going to freeze due to the -28 (with wind chill) temperatures, but by the time Christmas rolled around I was able to de-thaw with temps in the 50s. That's Ohio weather for you!

I had an absolute wonderful time with friends and family... and even though I can't believe these words are coming out of my mouth...I miss Ohio!

I wasn't able to get as much work done as I would have liked while on my little Christmas vacation, so I've been feverishly working hard since being back. Here are a few samples of what I've been working on lately:
